PAST / LISTENING GATHERING
Less is Sound
A forest listening gathering
A site-sensitive gathering exploring experimental sound, collective listening and ecological attention in a Vienna forest.
Created with Less is Sound / Proto Sites, the gathering treated the forest as an active collaborator rather than a backdrop. Performances, participatory sound works and the existing acoustic ecology formed one shared field.
The format centred deep listening as a way to develop interspecies sensitivity and new forms of attention, care and coexistence.
